need help no start

installing gauges and now no spark. I have been upgrading this boat for about 3 months and I started replacing the gauges and now I have not spark. Are the gauges tied into the system and causing the no spark problem? I am a life long mechanic on autos and heavy equipment. but definitely not a boat engine mechanic. please help!

BATTERY IS CHARGED AND ENGINE HAS NO SPARK IT DID BEFORE I DISCONNECTED THE GUAGES

Look at the model # again.-----Is there a big red plug on the wiring harness ?

Check the fuse back at the motor....it's near the starter solenoid.

Sorry....turning over I take it.

Grounding wire is still grounded most likely. Race is correct. Unplug the red plug and see if it starts by jumping the solenoid.

That will prove that you are hooked up to the wrong wire maybe. Might be a non compatible tach.

Make it run, then you know it a control box issue.

YES ON THE SIDE OF THE EGINE.

FUSE HOLDER WAS BAD AND I REPLACED IT. IT WOULD NOT TURN OVER UNTIL I REPLACED IT.

THERE IS A BLACK WIRE WITH A WHITE COMING OUT OF THE ENGINE HARNESS THAT IS NOT CONNECTED. COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM

My guess is the "black and white" wires are the trim gauge wires.

The theater switch is on black and yellow not grounded. in in neutral. I will look toward the switch today. finished installing carpet yesterday. now I can focus on the spark problem today. thanks for your help!!

it lives !!! you were right on!!! one to many black wires on the ignition switch. I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THERE HELP!!!!!!!
