Need help - liquid gas down carb throat

I need advice, I (stupidly) drained a fuel filter down the carb throat. Obviously I was not thinking. I estimate about 1 cup of fuel entered carb. My question is what should I do? I have not started the engine yet and am concerned about explosion or fuel in the oil. This happened about 12 hours ago. Help please.<br /><br />Thanks, Bill<br />wsparadise@sbcglobal.net

The worst it could have done is flooded the engine.Try to start it.If it doesn't start pull the spark plugs,dry them off and try again.
