Need Help Identifying

I have been looking for a project boat. The post gives little detail about the motor just evinrude v6. I think the guy inherited it and doesn’t know much about it. I know the v6 has been around in the rude would since the late 80’s, but I have no idea what year or hp this motor is. Any help is appreciated

1976 was the first year for the V-6 motor.------Hard to tell what that one is.-------More pictures with cowling off will help.

Do I see an identification plate on the port-side transom bracket?

If so, it'll have a Model # and Serial #. That'll tell you yr. and hp.
