need help identifying my exact model bayliner

I want to buy a cover for my boat but there are a lot of options. I need to know how to id the exact model of bayliner that I have. The length is 16'10" on the reg. So is it a 1600 or 1700 or a 170 or ??? I have searched high and low with the HID but no luck for this info. Only basics that I already have. Thanks for any help in advance.

Have you contacted Bayliner? You have the HIN, so they should be able to help. (360) 435-8957

I went to the bayliner web site and contacted customer service with my HIN. They sent me my model number and a PDF of the owners manual. Less than a day turnaround. That was 2 weeks ago.

In NADA for 1988 Capri series, the 1700 is the only logical choice. That is if the boat is a bowrider, not a cuddy.

Refer to my signature. Substitute the word "Cuddy" for "Bowrider" if applicable.

Bo, in NADA, they call the 17' cuddy a 1702. Is that not accurate?
