I just bought a Johnson Super Seahorse, the plate that identifies the model/hp is missing. I have searched for the answer on here but just haven't found a definitive answer. The serial # on the plug is J2377439. Any info would be appreciated.

1963 or 1964. Ref: My collection of serial numbers. Go to http://www.old-omc.de/ and see if you can match the decals. If you post a picture of the motor with the hood off, I can probably tell you the horsepower.
