Hello, was hoping some one could help me identify the HP of a 1960 Chris Craft 20' wood boat. It says Model 283 on it, but I am assuming that is the displacement, and not the HP. It also says GM on the block. Anyhow, was hoping some one knew the HP on it since I have to replace the title and they need that info. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Nice picture. Did you notice the 185 HP printed on the side. I will take a guess and say 185 HP.

Thanks for the info...

In my 1973 express 25 I have a 283 F model with 307 stickers on the valve covers...

Does that make any sense?

Thanks
