A friend of mine has an older Honda outboard (egg beater as I call it). No #'s on the data plate...all rubbed off. The cover says Honda 75 which I'm assuming means 7.5 hp seeing as how it's dam sure not a 75 hp haha. I'm needing to rebuild the carb, put in a new water impeller and I have no service manual to do so. Rebuilding the carb will be easy seeing as how I've grown up with carbs and they're very simple. The problem I have, possibly anyway is that I'm not sure how the lower unit drops off to service the impeller. Any assistance with identifying this motor and/or links to how to get to the water impeller to change it out would be great!!! Thanks

You will need to go to the Honda forum, they will be able to help you better.

Honda gives their motors 2 serial numbers...one on the frame and one on the engine block..see if you can find the one on the block and post it
