Maybe the most imprtant thing at this point is to keep in mind that they are now both "survivors". When they were built the Trojan was a 'lower level starter boat' and the Pacemaker was more of a "mid range" in quality. They both had their own issues and the decission as to which has more 'value' today would probably have to do with their current condition. The condition of the engines is really pretty minor in the whole picture. On the Pacemaker I'd ask how many ribs are cracked / broken (esp. at the turn of the bilge), how bad is the transom (pretty much assured it has been replaced at least once in a Pacemaker), what condition is the trunk cabin in as far as rot around the windows. If both were in good clean condition I would expect the Pacemaker should command a good bit more value today.
