Need help fitting yamaha digital gauges

I just purchased a pair of Yamaha digital gauges to fit to my 2006 40V yamaha outboard. I dont have the correct harness it seems and wire colours dont match at the engine end of harness. The harness has 4 wire plug pink grey green and green/red at the engine i have same plug pink black and brown which goes nowhere. can someone help please.

Any one have wiring diagrams for these gauges and wire colour codes for 06 40hp Yamaha maybe helpfull

is this a US market motor?
what part number harness did you buy?

Hi rodbolt.
Engine is australian market dont have the part number for the harness.Bought new as a package.. I have further inspected the pink and the black wires on engine go the trim switch. If ican get the colour codes for the gauges and where they go i can figure the rest i think.

I have gauge hooked up to control box but i dont know where the wires go on engine harness there is pink grey green/red green wires

need good pictures of both ends of your harness at the engine end and the gauge end and the gauges.
or go by the dealer and look at the riging guide.
its a non US market motor and sometimes the wire colors are different.

My local dealer is only interested in fitting and wants a small fortune to do it. i have both the speedo and tach gauges at this stage only interested in the tach as i may not use other..
Hope these pictures help..Also i have the wires going to control box sorted and gauge displays RPM..

on the harness shown,green red is low oil level,goes to the tach,green is tanl level,goes to the tach.
pink is trim send black is ground. gray is overtemp visual but with a 703 box wont work.
