Need Help Finding Old Part Numbers

Can anyone help me find part numbers for old Johnson & Evinrudes ?
The BRP site only goes back to like 1968.

Specifically, I'm looking for the part number for a 1958, 7.5 Johnson Gear & Shaft part
(the gear and shaft in the tiller to work the throttle) which looks ALOT like the one I need for a 1973, 18hp Evinrude.

1958 is 376691 which is superceded by 377943. 1973 should be the same one. I believe the difference in the two numbers is the newer one has two flat sides for the twist grip, necessitated because some grips have the screw coming up from the bottom, some from the top. The two flats take care of either situation.
