need help evinrude!!!

ok i have a 1981 evinrude 35hp model E35ECIG and need help with lower unit. i need to either find forward and reverse gear at a reasonable price or a used lower unit. both gears and the pinion drive are toast in the one i have now.is the a boat junk yard that anyone knows about? thanks for any help

Finding a used LU will be a lot cheaper than finding the specific gears. Some folks on here should be able to tell you which LU's fit that model.

Not sure if the 78 will or not.Good question for DHadley or Ezeke.
The 81 does come with the driveshaft,thats a big plus.
I gave 400 for my last used lower and that was a good deal for my 81 V-6
