I have And 1985 OMC 3.0 liter. I need to know what the easy way to see if the engine is seezed or the strendrive I put the throttle into gear and the prop doesnt move by hand. I put it back to netrual and the prop turns. I check the gear oil in the lower unit it didnt have any water in it but it did have some metal shavings on the magnet. I still have to check the upper unit. I really think it is the engine the sterndrive was rebuilt before he put it away so I was told and I do believe him.. If the block is zeezed should I try and rebuilt it or get a reman engine. also any Ideals where to find a long block if I need it thanks again for any help you all can give.
