need carb rebuild kit # ?

i need to rebiuld my carb .

i cant seem to find the complete rebuild kit for my 9.8 mercury SER # 6348863
from my ser # it should be an 1983 model .
i have never had a problem with this little tiller, it has started to leak from the carb throat after a long run. about 2 miles at or near full throttle and i ran the tank almost to empty.
i suspect it has debris in the float and the needles are not closing. i usually inspect my gas cans for dirt but i must have missed it this time.
does this carb have a fuel filter ?
if not,
can i install a good inline fuel filter just before the engine ?

You will need to find the number that should be stamped on your carburetor.

Here is your list of parts. The kits are near the bottom in the part number list once you click on your carburetor.
