I am thinking of buying a 1997 Lund Baron and would like some input from people who either have owned one or currently own a Baron. I'm not interested in who makes the best boat but specifically on the Lund Baron how do you like it? I will be on BIG water and know it will catch wind like kite but I'm really interested more in how you like the set up of the interior, console and how it fishes. Any thing that you really like or don't like I would like to hear about. I read some where that they are too wide and flex too much in the keel cracking or twisting supports. Anyone had any problems in that area? Also interested in where to buy used or new parts such as switches on the console, etc., etc. Any help would be appreciated, the one I'm looking at has a 200 hp Merc and a 9.9 four stroke kicker, elec trolling motor, 3 fish finders... Ok, depth finders in my case, 5 seats, radio cassette, and that's about all I know about it other than it is good shape for an 11 yr old boat.
