Need advice about a home water well

I'm in the middle of a driveway paving project and as a part of the process, the well bladder was moved out of the drive and over next to the house. The well head (the black rectangle) remains where it was before and is still in service. Everything works normally.

We're planning on installing a water tap at the new retaining wall to replace the bib that had been attached to the plumbing out at the well previously.

Can we tap from the well head and install the bib that way? Or do we need to run a separate line from the pressure bladder out to the wall, as shown with the dashed blue line? It's about 50 feet away.

(The yellow line is a power line which will be run out to the wall as well.)

I don't want to get into some weird stuff by applying back pressure from the bladder to the well head directly.

Recommendations please! Thanks! 🙂

There should be a check valve where your well feeds the pressure tank. You would have to tap the hose bib off the house side of the check valve. If you tapped at the well head as soon as you opened the tap the water pressure in the feed from the well would drop to nothing and the pressure switch would not sense it due to the check valve holding back the tank pressure.
Is this a submersible pump? If so and the only check valve in the system is on the inlet of the pump than you could tap at the well head.

Yes, it's a submerged pump. I don't know if there's more than one check valve though. 🤷‍♂️

Submersible pumps typically have a built in check valve in the pump head where the drop pipe attaches.
