Hi, I've got a Yamaha outboard, V-4, 130 hp that needs a starter.
The transom bracket label is unreadable but the engine coin reads 307504.
I can make out that the ghost of the transom bracket also indicates 307504 so that seems good.
But, how can I turn the engine coin into a model number that will enable me to ID the starter that I need?
I find starter part numbers were:
1988-1996: 6E5-81800-12-00
1997-1999: 6N7-81800-00-00
2000-2004: 6N7-81800-10-00
Which starter is the one I need?
Thank You,
J
