the torque on the water pump housing bolts that is. I just put my new water pump kit on my 25 johnson ( 1990 ) and I can't seem to locate my manual today. The bolts are slightly tighter than finger tight right now, so it's together and isn't going anywhere, but I would like to get them tightened down and put it on the boat ASAP before I forget that I hadn't tightened them down .

thanks so much. Funny, I just found my manual. POS clymer doesn't even list the number..just a general reference for bolt sizes...According to my basic understanding of bolts, I would have tightened them down to 10-12 ft./lbs. because they are tightened with a 5/16 socket.

It does list the 60-84 inch/lbs as the starter through bolt torque
