Need a new ignition switch, are there any alternatives to the OEM?

I have a 1976 70 HP Johnson with its matching single-lever control. I just recently read a thread where Joe Reeves mentioned that if you have any voltage at all coming on the yellow-black wire into the powerpack when the key is in the run position, you may have a bad switch which can kill the powerpack. I just recently had to replace my powerpack when it went bad, and remembered reading on the CDI instructions that there was a threshold voltage (something like 2 microvolts) which was acceptable. After reading the post from Joe Reeves, I went back and re-tested and sure enough, I am showing 1.5 mV on the black-yellow wire. I need to replace the ignition switch, but the OEM part is anywhere from $50-$70! I see that Sierra has a lot of options for ignition switches with the push-choke solenoid activation that are a lot more reasonably priced at $20 or so. I can't seem to find a cross-reference for the part, though. The online diagrams shows the OEM part is 0386947, and have only found one obscure reference to a Sierra switch part number MP39760 which says replaces the 0386947. Does anyone know where there might be a good cross-reference for this switch, or if the OEM part number has been superseded by another part number that can be cross-referenced? Any help would be appreciated.

Rgds
