Need a Mercury wiring diagram

I need help desperately prior owner FUBARed the entire wiring on my engine if anyone could just snap a couple of pics of their running setup that would help me restore her back to former glory if I started to go on what was missing everyone would be scratching their heads in disbelief.. So far switchbox is in the mail and I haven't cracked her open yet but I think I might be missing the spark plug coils again I don't want to even look at how this set up was done on mine I need a few pics that would get me back on track to what it should be the manuals don't help me at all the wiring is that bad again I thank anyone that can help me out...

Serial number 2093055... The pics of my engine has missing parts and a "rigged" wiring that I already know is totally wrong I need a couple of pics to see what and how the wires go together again a pic is worth a thousand words, the engine is currenty missing key parts looks like the person I bought it from savaged the parts and sold them I'm trying to get it back together again the wiring diagrams show me what parts are connected to each part butim starting from nothing a simple pic will give me the ah ha!!

Flying Scott what I meant by cracking her open was taking the ignition flywheel off the engine and all the other parts that go along with it... Right now the engine is sitting I've tried countless times to trouble shoot it and I now found out its been missing key parts and has been rigged so it would show a spark on the sale I bought it as a package deal with a 6hp fisherman engine now I got time I'm trying to make heads or tails of what is really wrong with it without taking it to a stealership my other motors are evinrudes they seem simple this is another animal due to the switch box and trigger wiring I'm new to working on outboards but if I see it I can figure it out....

Your motor is a 1967 model you need the wiring diagram for that year. There is no switchbox on that motor. You will be doing some searching to find parts for that motor.

Try iboats. Look at the top of this page under Boat Parts and Accessories. You can buy a Seloc outright or rent time on the www. Personally I liked mine better than my OEM.....more pics and better explanations. Don't know what models they cover. They covered my engine.

I thank all you all for the tips now time to get my hands dirty knowing what animal I got gives me some confidence on what may be wrong with the ole motor I will let this forum know my findings (hopefully not a rats nest) thanks again for the tips and links they will help me out big time..
