Hey a guy I know has a Merc 115 inline six, he says about 78-79 model. I believe the serial number is 8182732, I don't know if that sounds right though. Anyways his tach is shot and I have one to give him, but we don't know how many poles the stator's got. And what is the recommended rpm at WOT on this particular motor? He doesn't know a whole lot of technicals concerning this motor so I'm trying to give him a helping hand. Thanks
