Hi there. My boat needs a new gas cap. I mean it needs a SICK gas cap, like really COOL:laugh::rockon: gas CAP! All the ones I see are just the dumb old shiny ones with the dogebone cutout for a key, that is it. Where do I find the gas cap that my boat deserves???? I think this is one of the things I will spend some cash on for fun:biggrin-new::D:D:D. Also are the threads all standard? or different sizes?

There are many different thread designs. Look in i-boats shopping area, you may find what you are looking for. Or you may have to change the filler neck to install what you really are looking for. It has to be water tight though.

I think you should just have a wrap made to your liking ,maybe have a dollar sign on it ,flames ,skull and cross bone , picture of your dog ,the sky's the limit ! Have a bunch made so it's always fresh and just swap them out when your feeling it.

you take your existing cap and you go to a custom metal fabricator and you spend about $500-$1000 to make it what you want

or you are a custom fabricator and you make it what you want yourself

or you glue a sticker on your existing cap

Since the cap needs to be USCG approved, this isnt something that a chinesium made sticker and bi-wing honda rice-burner supply company wants to tackle

BTW, not even Eddie Marine or CP Performance or any of the other companies that make billet water fills and billet waste pump deck hardware make fuel fillers. mainly because of the cost to get the USCG certification
