First of all I know a lot of you here followed the "Link" and made suggestions and I just wanted to thank you.<br /><br />Even though being pushed by a close friend to just start the boat and go for it. Mike read everything on the two posts (Johnson and Non Boat tech)and took your advice.<br /><br />I ran into them last night and they had just for the first time put the boat in the water yesterday. Ran it for a couple hours with double oil then changed to a regular mix.. They spent several hours out on American lake.<br /><br />Kudo's also go out to the mech at Bills Boat House who took the insulation out of the motor cowling. He showed Mike that it was falling apart and he didn't need it going through the carb. Mike said when he ran his fingure over it, it turned into a fine dust!<br /><br />This THANK YOU is from the young couple to all those nice people who took the time to give them your advice!
