normally go to west brach and if i have to berlin. portage is for the food drink scene.

i used to know some folks who enjoyed lake milton, but i have never been.

is it nice? shallow? large enough or do you feel like you are doing circles the whole time?

Milton is decent, deeper water is to the south of the bridges. Not as large as West Branch or Berlin, but worth a day trip. Very nice public launch, but not much else as far as marina or services. If you are willing to drive a little, try Salt Fork or Tappen.

Have only ever been to salt fork a few times and wasn't impressed for the length of drive....but that was 16 years ago. May have to try again
