Wanted to ask about what others with Jon boats do regarding navigation lights? Always used during the daytime, however, do experience some reduced visibility issues every once in a while. Wanted to know if used, what type, and where to mount on the Jon boat? Thanks.

I have a set of the Attwood clamp on for my 12 foot tinny that I rarely use at night but they are plenty bright and as GA boater says the batteries last forever.

I'm cheap as hell, I bought two $2 led small flashlights. Put a frosted medicine measure cup on the end of one, then put it on a pvc pipe, stuck that in a hole on back of boat. Other light I boat replacement red/green lens $3.00, hot glued them on flash light. Velcro tape, front of boat. Done. And brighter then most other boats. 😆

For a stern light you can use a cheap solar yard light, just tape it to a length of PVC pipe, or a stick. Some have an on/off switch, they last all night.
