Hello, relative newbie here. I have my first bass boat and trying to get it into shape, none of the electronics work. There's a button with "NAV LT/ANC LT". I'm sure NAV LT means navigational light, but what does ANC LT mean?

anchor? ancillary?

Thanks for any help

Anchor. Your Red/Green light and White anchor light should all come on when in the "Nav" position. Only the White should light when in the "Anc" position.

Oh, ok, I see. The white all-round light on the stern is the "anchor light"?

When the red and green on the bow are on...then it's a Navigational light...when the red and green are off, it's an anchor light...thus the reason for two positions on the switch....the stern light (the white all-around) should be wired to both poles of the switch and the bow nav lights (red/green) should only be wired to the "nav" side of the switch.

Yes, that is your anchor light.

Ok, thanks guys. I've got to rewire everything on the boat, at least the foam and fiberglass still work :(
