John,<br /><br />I am considering Smart Tabs for a 1976 15' Whaler Sport.<br /><br />You may know that the 15' Whaler has a unique transom. It is NOT flat.<br /><br />Any experience with this boat?
Your going to need a 9" wide area about 1/2" above the bottom of the hull on each side. If I recall the sides of thr transom are not exactly square with the bow. I do not recall the angle but I do not think it is more that 10 degrees. If you can post a picture or email it to Info at NauticusInc.com It would be helpfull.
