I have the 2007 1900 bayboat that I bought new. I took it out early this year and it started taking on water. This boat doesn't have 200 hrs on the engine. I put it back on the trailer to find the gelcaot coming off a chime on the left side and water pouring out of the hull. I called Nauticstar to get them to warranty thier hull and they said it was my fault. Paid to have a marine surveyor to inspect it. His report clearly states poor lamination or layout issues and completely removed me as being the cause of the cracking of the hull. I sent report to Nauticstar and they finially agreed to haul it to the factory for thier inspection. At this time, I still have no commitment from them that they will honor their life time warrany. So buyer beware.
