Smart tabs are working great. Finally no more porpoising.I'm about half way on the adjustment but have lost about 4mph. If i adjust further will the porpoising return if they are set too soft?Running the 60 lb. actuators.
I also noticed about a 200 rpm drop. Will the tabs holding me back cause this?
Thanks John...Your service has been top notch!!

Re: Nauti-John,Smart Tab Question

Reduce the pressure by moving the actuator closer to the plate as shown in the instructions on page 8 & 9. you will need to find the correct balance between eliminating the porpoising and improving speed. Courently you have too much stern lift (actuator pressure). Make sure you trim correctly as well.

Re: Nauti-John,Smart Tab Question

Ok will do Rottenray. It will be next week before i get a chance to put it in the water.
So far the Smart Tabs makes it ride like a whole new boat.I can stay on plane at much lower speeds and it gets on plane much better too.
They solved my porpoising problem and steering pull.Other than loosing a little top speed i'm very pleased.I'm sure a little adjusting and i'll get it back.
