I hear ya, Flahthead.<br /><br />I listen to a lot of gobbling coming off night perch. I am usually up before they are, so I get to enjoy a cuppajoe on the porch and listen to the earth go to bed (owls, whippoorwills, coyotes, etc.) and wake up (everybody else).<br /><br />I wouldn't trade this life in this place for anything I can think of.

Hmmm, wild turkeys are not what I thought you meant by nature's alarm clock. Mine's, ahem, kind of internal.

mines internal as well. sometimes artheritis gets lonly and wakes me up for company. usually about 3:30 in the morning
