I heard a report on the radio this morning about a non-native species accidentally introduced to the Potomac river in Maryland and Virginia that is threatening to literally destroy the bass fishery there. It's called a Northern Snakehead. They feed voraciously, reproduce prolifically, spawning up to five times a year, and can survive out of water for several days. In China they often migrate between bodies of water by "walking" from puddle to puddle.

I swear I am not making this up!

My idea is this: let's mobilize all the nation's fishermen & women to converge on the site and exterminate this threat by rod & reel.

Who's with me?
