The fourth Cup race of the season is coming up on Sunday from Phoenix. X-Men will compete on Saturday. Still no trucks! :blue: From MRN - The weekend schedule;

Once again for the 3rd race, only 39 entries. Not much qualifying drama any more.

The weather is forecast to be sunny through Sunday and beyond. A little wind tomorrow afternoon, but nothing like last week.

News and Notes
  • Furniture Row is dropping the appeal of the suspension of the #78 crew chief and other penalties following the flap, I mean out of spec roof flaps at Altanta.
  • 3 warnings were issued from the Vegas race. Also a crew member was placed on indefinite suspension for a drug issue.
  • Is the booth too small for Gordon and Waltrip? NBCSN has a report about the two having disagreements over some chit-chat between the two during the races. True? Waltrip denies it and says everything is hunky-dory.
  • Ticket sales were down for the 8th year after the primary track owners reported 2015 results..
  • TV ratings were down again. But not as bad the two previous race.
  • Pit road penalties are way up over previous years as the 2nd year of Big Brother Pit Watchers. Last week there were 19 alone. So how do the crews cope? The over the wall guys are wearing shoes the same color as pit road paving to blend and make harder for the cameras to pick up violations. This is Nascar at it's finest! LOL
  • Tony Stewart's return is still undecided. He had X-rays earlier this week and doctors have begun some rehab.

Three races and three IFL winners, just like the Cup guys. Last week Spear4 earned the :first: for choosing wisely at Vegas. Congrats, Spear.
Urea 24 is the points leader after 3 races.

Get your changes to your rosters made before the race in Sunday. Remember Ty Dillon is in for Smoke this week. And good luck everyone.

Johnson is moving to the back to start the race on Sunday because of an engine change,

Annett is moving to the back of the grid in the backup car.

The Twerp won the X-Men race. Erik Jones finished second and flunked post-race inspection.

Don't forget to change your clocks tonight or you will miss an hour of the race.

jimmies steering wheel came off. i remember watching somebdy (pretty sure it was jimmie) unlocked their steering wheel but left it 'resting' on the hub while in the garage. my thoughts were, either take it off or leave it on'. wish i had recorded that to go back and see if it was jimmie. but i think that was in practice, not qualifying.

B10 Championship is on during the race. Since MSU is playing, not sure how much of the race I'll "get" to see......

Just in time for the race off pit road after the 3rd caution after Stenhouse eats the wall, too. :D

Edwards still in 1st, followed by Harvick.

Caution #4 for Keso blowing a tire.

It looks like Oregon is seeded ahead of Michigan in the NCAA's.
