This week's race is at Watkins Glen, the final road course race this year. I wish a road course was one of the Chase races. Along with the Cup race, Xfinity will be racing on Saturday. Kyle Busch is running in the X-Men race, so he will be taking away more points and money from the "developmental" drivers. From MRN, the race schedule:
40 names on the entry list, no one goes home. Ringer Boris Said will be in the #32 for Go Fas Racing. I guess Jeff Gordon, with a track leading 4 wins, could be considered a ringer, too.
A good part of Friday and overnight into Saturday may be impacted by rain. :blue:

Ttownmatt2 picked up his 4th :first: 4th - Most of us are still looking for our first win this year. :grumpy: Good job and congrats, TTM2.
Trackchick is still the overall leader, adding about 50 points to the cushion.
Make picks and/or changes to your roster and Good luck.

News and Notes
- Dale Jr. - He is missing Watkins Glen and even with a week off between The Glen and Bristol, Gordon will still fill in at Bristol. I wonder when Jr. will return to the 88?
- How young is too young? A 13 year old and his father stretched the truth and said he was 15 so he youngster could race in a Nascar sanctioned race. The kid was suspended indefinitely and rightly so. This is the 2nd time a 13 YO kid has been yanked from the seat this year. The minimum age for lower tier Nascar sanctioned events is 14.
- Chris Beuscher's win on Monday at the rain/fog shortened Pocono race really threw the Race To The Chase in a tizzy. He is 31st in driver standings by only 4 points. If he is able to get to 30th or higher by the start of the Chase and any other drivers win a race while in 30th or more in points, some of the expected Chasers will be knocked out. Including Beuscher. there 12 winners in the chase, so if things don't change and he makes the Chase. only 4 spots remain. Stay tuned.
- The Glen is hoping for record attendance for the Cheez-It 355.
- No TV ratings posted so far for Pocono.
