2014 Cup race 14 - The Pocono 400 in the mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania. Also for our resident Truck fiend, Wimusky, The Winstar World Casino and Resort 400 at Texas Motor Speedway later this evening. 
Cup qualifying starts at 4:40 Eastern today with the race at 1:00 Eastern Sunday.
Let's do a recap of the 2014 Sprint Cup halfway to the Chase.
So far through 13 races we have three double winners, maybe four depending how you count. Harvick, Logono and Johnson each have won a pair, the maybe double is the Shrub Bros with a win each. Single winners are Jr., Keso, Edwards, Hamlin and Gordon. So we have ten places out of 16 set at the Chase banquet table with 13 races to go. Notables without a place card so far are Smoke, Biff, Newman, Kahne, Kenseth and Bowyer.
In our own Fantasy Live iboats league, I owe an apology. :embarassed: I gave FlaCowboy the :first: trophy after last weeks race. Upon further review and pulling my head out of the Dark Place, the tape showed FlaCowboy slipping on some rib fat allowing Aspeck to win the week. Also zooming on the pics of the loose concrete clearly shows rib bones were the red flag culprit, not a pothole. :lol: Aspeck was :first: in the Dover race. Cowboy can take solace in the fact that he is the league leader after 13 races, followed by 64osby and 'Speck a close third.
Nascar rumor mill - Biffle and Edwards are in the last year of their contract racing for Roush. Chances are that one of them will leave the Roush stable, indications are Edwards will say bye-bye and move to Gibbs. Since Bayne is moving up to full-time Cup next year with Roush, it will be either as a 4th Roush team or a replacement for Biffle or Edwards. We'll have to wait to see how it all plays out.
