Mike Helton finally saw that Kyle Busch crossed the line. Parked for the remainder of the Texas race week-end. I'm sure fines, points penalties etc. will announced on Monday.

Yep, you can do a lot of things in NASCAR, but running a person straight on into a wall while under caution is a definite No-No! Made to park in the the truck race, Hamlin got his ride for the Nationwide, and McDowell gets the Sprint Cup ride. Stick a fork in him, KyBu is done ...

Personally think the sit down should be a little longer than 1 weekend, but I'm also a little surprised they went that strong. The guy is a punk and nothing is going to change his ways.

A friend that knows of my dislike for Kyle sent me this link. CEO Linda's comment seriously fits this occasion.

New sponsor for the 18

Dayum, Kylie really has himself in a pickle now

I used to hate him, but one of the family members follows him and he definitely makes things exciting. I'm going to miss him Sunday despite how badly he deserves and needs this punishment.

Interesting side note, and unfair to McDowell, but I do like to see examples of equipment vs. driver. In this case I think we'll see how much the driver still matters. 2nd practice had McDowell at 33rd, 1st practice Kylie ran 7th in the same car. In that practice McDowell ran 34th in the 66 . . . There is no doubt that Kylie can steer these things, that seems to be a little more evidence right there.

ROFLMAO!!!! I will share that link. That is some funny stuff there. I can't stand the ones who dish it out, but constantly complain about the little bumps they get.

Nationwide race (Today) with Denny Hamlin driving the 18, 43rd to 2nd in a car that wasn't set up for him and a crew chief he never worked with. Must be a pretty good car that anyone could win with if they can keep their head out of their ............. uhhhh, about them.

Agree. Was watching that too. I'd say that Hamlin down in Nationwide is different than McDowell up in Cup. But that's what makes this tough to call for sure . . .

I have been saying for years that Kyle Busch and team are very successful benders of NASCAR rules. He is too dominant, too often, especially in truck and Nationwide. He isn't quite as good in Cup because the rule benders are better in Cup. I do like races where they mix it up. And they need more road races to honor their bootlegging roots.

Re: NASCAR - Have at it , boys.

I was glad to see NASCAR put the hammer down on Shrubby. We'll see if Joe Gibbs disciplines him even further. I'm sure his Cup car sponsors are none too happy. No matter how good you are, that can still get you fired. Take Randy Moss for an example.....

Some on NASCAR radio have said Shrubby has matured alot this year. One reason being that he owns his own truck team and is going to have a Nationwide car next year. Well, I believe people will be changing their mind. Shrubby will always be Shrubby. Too bad, he does have a bunch of talent. Still, never liked the guy.......

I read his statement apologizing. If he really means it, there is hope for him in the future.

Back in the day he would have received a thorough whippin and no more would be said.

Unfortunately, in todays NASCAR simple, hostile and over aggressive moves kill people. Too bad the rope is obsolete.

Word is that M&M's has already told JGR they want another driver.

Re: NASCAR - Have at it , boys.

I was just saying last week, that although it blows my mind, sponsors do like Kylie. Somehow the Toyota adds work with him as does the MM adds. I can see both sponsors having a limit, but my point is that as long as NASCAR doesn't ban him for life, he will find a lucrative sponsor deal that he can package with almost any owner. With that said, this is still one of my favorite things about NASCAR: the role of the sponsor will ultimately police the sport. If NASCAR is a scam, sponsors will leave, if drivers are fools, sponsors won't sponsor, if the fans leave, so will the sponsors, and on and on . . .

All the more reason for a large Douche company to take over Kyle Busch's sponsorship....

Mars released a statement basically saying Shrubby doesn't represent what Mars is all about. The media asked Joe Gibbs straight up whether Shrubby will be fired. Joe didn't say either way. I think his sponsor will have alot to say about it and may be the determining factor.

NASCAR is going to meet again Monday to see if more penalties will be handed down. You would think there would be a least a substantial fine.

Joe is going to let Shrubby sit up in the pit box today. If I was the owner, he would be watching the race in the hauler... But guess what????

They read his apology too. Sounded very formatted. It was like he was told you "will" give an apology and this is what you will say.....

Will be interesting to see if there is anymore fallout next week.

In the meantime, I'm looking for a great race today.......
