Nascar - Coca-Cola 600 And The Indy 500, Too

After a week off for the All Star racing, Cup points racing returns. With both the Indy 500 and Coke 600 on Sunday, we have 1100 miles of racing to watch. But only the Big Shrub will try to drive all 1100 miles. If you're into drag racing, NHRA is racing in the Kansas Nationals. We have lots of tire smoke coming up. :smile:

The 600 is race longest Cup race with practice and qualifying scheduled for later today (Thursday). Saturday will be the N-wide History 300. No Trucks this week for you, Musky. :blue: They return at Dover, the 30th.

This week also marks the HOF Class of 2015 announcement. Bill Elliott, Joe Wheatherly, Fred Lorenzen, Rex White and a true pioneer in Nascar racing, Wendell Scott.

My favorite race of the year, and I am, still not quite sure why. Even with a good car you can finish 3 laps down. Here's to some Ms. Terry DeBrie cautions to keep that from happening

JJ has the pole. Danica is starting fourth. Keso 2nd, Kahne 3rd and Bowyer is 5th. The Twerp crashed in N-Wide practice.
