After watching the Toyota's on Sunday, I don't know that will work out so good, one of these days, NASCAR is going to look like the old IROC everybody will be driving the same make and model!

Besides Joey and sometimes Bad Brad, Fords have not been running strong. Gibbs Toys and Chebby have been leading the way.

I would say Ford came calling trying to get up on top.

Hendrick posted that they would be supplying SHR in 2016 and would continue working with them after that. As much as Smoke is a Chevy guy I am surprised ... maybe this was in the works, the offer too good to refuse, and another reason for him to retire at the end of this year.

ford had lost some steam and without penske they would be all backmarkers. i bet ford waved a ton of cash in front of SHR but i am surprised by that decision. although we did see with the addition of kurt that gene haas is the one that makes the decisions. but i believe tony's sprint car teams are dodges

Essentially they ARE all driving the same make and model..

The bodies are the same
The tube frames are the same
Everything is specified in the rules to the point that the only real difference is the labels and paint.

Paint the cars all flat black and you couldn't tell them apart.
