We're at Darlington for the Bojangles' 500, race #8 - The first Saturday night and the first night race. The Lady In Black, home of the Darlington Stripe.
Well, 7 down with 7 different winners. I ask every week - The first double winner or the 8th of the year? For a change, no controversy that I've heard of. No tire talk, rule changes or anything. Speaking of tires, there was a two day tire test at Michigan. Bowyer said he hit 217 MPH and Jr. was up to 215 MPH. Biff said he maxed out at 220 MPH or as Bowyer said: "That's white-of-your-eyes-fast,". White knuckle, too.
Two N-Wide practices on Thursday, Q-ing Friday. Cup has all practices and Q-ing on Friday. N-Wide race at 8P Friday. And the Cup race is Saturday with the green flag at 6:45. It should be a good weather weekend. Sure hope so, I am tired of late starts and delays due to rain.
