postponed my trip to look at this, did more research, read somewhere they are rare, i may get it anyway, try to fix it, play with, sell, and if i can't fix, part it out to the other 2 owners of these olivers i have found, or i could mount it to the transom just to look rediculous next to the 2 evinrudes:facepalm: would have to have its own tank as it's a different mix

I think there is or was an Oliver site.
Oliver farm tractors bought the the Chris craft Outboard operation circa 1953/54.And built outboards under their name
55-59. Oliver Outboard cyberspace museum.
Site heading says On line and open for business.

55-59. Oliver Outboard cyberspace museum.

i have checked out that site, says to call about parts not listed, and a few things listed, did find replacement impeller with core exchange, so i guess i will get it sunday and see what i can do, im sure i can make it run, and will make for some fun and accomplishment:) nothing like the feeling of solveing the issues and fixing something that was broken
