Name That Boat Dog?

I just got a Golden puppy and am looking for a name for him. I cruise the upper Great Lakes and have a Formula PC named "Foxy Lady". Anyone have any ideas?<br />Thx!<br /><br />

We used to name a dog based on it's character but now we let the kids do it. They said they would need to know if it was a boy or girl.

You did say him in your original post so I asked them and the response was: Jack and JoJo and Coco Of course those were my girls suggestions. The wife said Buck personally I ask what is your favorite spirit like Jim or Seven or Beam something like that.

I know it's stupid....How about "Paddle" or "Anchor" or Port, Starboard, Stern, Aft, Knot, Radar, or last but not least...Dog <br /><br />Nameing a dog is really a personal thing! Thats why my kids named the last one! Now they cannot blame me for the name!!!!!! Love them yellow labs. Kids swim with him all day while they hold on to his tail pulling them around. Last dog was a Golden...Miss him! Great dogs, You will love him!!

Don't know if it works for you, but I need a bigger dog in my 12 footer to keep the bow down. If I ever got a dog that size, I'd name him Balast.<br /><br />
