Name not always showing

User name not always showing up in upper right corner. Sometimes it does, other times its just blank, and other times name and cart but no avatar. First I thought it was just when there were no messages waiting, but found that to not be the case. The way to see messages I select anyone's name and then my name does show up so I can see my messages.

It started yesterday. Have cleared cache and deleted cookies

AD - This has been a problem for quite some time.

It's like a semi-logged on issue. You are logged into the forum so everything is normal except for display of notifications and username in the upper right because the hunk of software connecting the forum and store is a POS to say it bluntly.

The software poorly controls access for both the forum and store, as well as the messaging system. It is also causing the random log offs and jumping PMs. The trouble is this package is an octopus on steroids and has it's tentacles all over the place.

I know you've heard this before, but it really is true - We are working on it. The people that choose to use the package are no longer working on it and have been logged out. iBoats is changing for the better, it's taking time. No one seems to have caught it, but look at the logo on the other side of the header.

Thanks, probably read it once before some time ago, but don't remember because this part of the issue never effected me before. It is good and bad to know I'm not special anymore :lol::grouphug:

I've had it happen, so I hit refresh and then it showes up. Figured it was my computer, I guess not....

Since you have only posted in the this thread, you have confused me.

A member needs to have 3 or more posts before photo attachments are allowed. After looking at our Photo Tutorial, try starting a thread in whatever forum section you choose to use. Click Forum Help in the sig below to look the tutorial.
