Guess which party came up with this brainchild?<br />"Senate Bill S.786, proposes that the National Weather Service discontinue<br />many services that people depend on in their daily lives. The idea is to not<br />compete with commercial providers of weather forecasting. <br />There is a question about whether this bill would end the NWS from <br />providing weather forecasts over the internet."<br />That would'nt affect us boaters would it?

Not really a party deal. The Weather Channel has been able to get Sen. Rick (something) R Pa. to carry this bill. It will not go anywhere. There are too many of us that use NOAA data all the time. Keep up the good work NOAA
