Trying to understand what some mysterious connectors are that I found on our new (to us) 2008 Four Winns H200. I haven't dug into the service manual(s) yet for a detailed wiring diagram but was hoping someone here might be able to identify a couple of them. Curious if I have any hidden gadgets I could activate with the addition of an accessory or switch!

These come off wire loom just behind the steering rams:

This one is towards the top back port side of the engine:

This one is above the transom plate inside the engine compartment (I think this is for if I had Mercathode installed?):

This one is up inside the port side of the hull where rub rail is (I believe there's another one on the starboard side too but don't have a pic of it):

By the way, should I look at manual #24 or #31 for this engine?

Hi there, four winns pre-wires all their boats for all the accessories they may add to their boats.

Looks like the orange/yellow should be for a/the bilge blower.

In I believe it was in 08, all the black wires went to yellow for grounds.

The gray wires while hard to tell in the photo, if there are any wires with stripes on them, it could have something to do with additional lighting.

You are correct, the one is for the new style mercruiser mercathode system.

About the best thing to do is get out the 12 volt multimeter and test them to see if anything at the helm will power them up. Also read the fuse box as I believe it is usually marked with what each one goes to.

Try checking your four winns owners manual near the back of the manual, there may be a wiring schematics with colors for your boat model.
