My yamaha not peeing 1996 85 horse

I would like to replace the impeller myself. Can anyone give instuctions or tips on how to do this? How do I know if the impeller or the whole assem. needs to be replaced. (please excuse my stupidity on outboards. I am pretty good on cars)

I know the pee hole is free of obstructions.<br />Someone told me that if the motor is overheating there sold be alarms? I run the unit for a hour like this and did not discover any alarms. Are these alarms ad-ons or are the built on to the motor some how.<br />Anyone know of a general info or tech info for yamaha's? Does anyone know a good cheap online parts house?
