boatster,<br />That was a great slide and narrative presentation!Equally interesting was the fact that you made the trip across some 26 miles of Pacific Ocean channel with a 13' "dinghy" and 3 adults on board! <br />With my 17' boat, I haven't been out farther than the sight of Orange county shorelines! My hat off to you! <br /><br /> I am not sure if I ever be brave enough to make the Catalina island crossing like you did. Do you do this regularly?

That was very cool. My brother lives and works at Two Harbors. Your bungalow is actually housing for summertime employees. "B Deck" as it's called is home to many parties during the summer. I didn't know they rented it out during the winter. Interesting. Is the boat launch you used at Cabrillo beach? Again, nice slideshow.

wow cool slide show...very ballsy to cross the channel with such a small boat.....I've been out before where both catalina and mainland were bright sunny and smooth but only to hit a fog bank in the middle....be safe
