I was in the Navy 65-69 as a 2nd class Engineman.
Just curious, how can I be a 1st Class Petty Officer and a Officer at the same time? Am I supposed to eat in the crew’s mess or the Ward Room? I know the Ward Room has better chow.

A-Gang had the keys to the reefers, R-Div had keys to everything else. Wardroom (Boy's Town) fed engineering more than they knew.
