Let me thank everyone in advance for the help with all my questions over the last couple weeks.

Now here's another one...

Using this prop calculator:

http://www.rbbi.com/folders/prop/propcalc.htm

my prop slip with the 19P stainless is 22% and with the 17P aluminum is 27%. Sounds high, no? If it is, what could be the cause?

Re: My Prop Slip

I know the trailing edge has a little lip on it, on the 19P stainless. I have not yet specifically looked at it, when I get home today I will lay a straightedge along the blade and see what it looks like.

Re: My Prop Slip

You dont need a straightedge. Just look at the cup from the hub out. I'm sure it will end before the tip.

Re: My Prop Slip

OK, I will. Another number I just ran, with the brand new ballistic I get 20% slip. Maybe that's simply about right for this hull?

DH, thanks again for the help!
