My New Lowe 160W

Hello everyone!

This is my first boat purchase.
I will test drive it this Saturday.
I found this (new)2005 Lowe 160W hold-over at a local dealer for under 12K..

What do you think?

It performed beyond my expectations on the test run.
This is a 2005 and is the last year of the outstanding hull design in this series from Lowe.
It absorbs bumps like a fiberglass hull and does not skip or wallow when cornering at high speed.
The trim worked flawlessly.

Plus the 50 hp Evinrude E-Tec motor as an added bonus.

Now parked in my driveway!8)
I am on cloud nine!

Congrats on the new boat, glad you like it. I purchased a Lowe 165 F&S last year and I am 100% happy with it so far. I got the Merc 90 4 stroke, super quiet and it gets up to 47 mph on the speedo. I think Lowes are under rated, at least up here in Canada. Once people realize what a great boat they are and for a lot less I am sure they will be flying off the showroom floors........Irv64

They are great little boats.

I have added a front FF and a "lean" seat with adjustable post.
