Hey Gang,

Well I finally had my boat home for the first time this weekend in hopes of a maiden voyage yesterday. I've been waiting 4 weeks for my flippin trailer! Sunday was going to be in the upper 50's and sunny so I'm thinkin here's my chance before snow... But as luck would have it, wind was blowing (15-25 mph) from the south had all area lakes looking evil.... So strike one for that. I'm having a waterline cover made for her, as during the summer months she's stored outside. So I picked her up Saturday, Sunday prep for the water, drove to the launch, saw nothing but white caps ~ (2-4' chop) and cranking wind... So I drove to the other lake on the area chain, and the same deal! I decided to drop her back off so the cover-maker can finish this week... I hope I can at least get her in the water before the snow flies... I need to break in the new Yammy, so I have a few hours at no more than half throttle until I can open her up... Anyhow... Here are a few pics my new craft...

Very nice boat! I was out on the lake today...sorry it was 100 here today and was absolutely gorgeous out.:p Anyway, when I was prepping my boat for launch a very nice Hurricane Fun Deck 202(I think that was the model, 20 something anyway) pulled up right next to me. His was an inboard with a trolling motor on the front. Very nice boat..I really like those v-hull deck boats. We are really enjoying our Monterey right now, but if we ever get something different or upgrade, we will definitely be shopping for a deck boat.

Sorry tashasdaddy!

I changed the size on my post but cannot change on post from MTribe08.

I thought the pics were 600 x 400. Again I apologize...

BTW what does "not going to scan r - l to read thread" mean anyhow?

Peace.

It means he doesn't want to have to scroll sideways to see the pictures. Apparently when you first posted them they must have been wider than his screen.

Nice boat! What do you plan to do on her? Fish or just bee-bop around?

Congrats!!! on the new boat. Sure is a great looking boat with an awesome YAMAHA. I do recommend taking your state's boating safety course. Hope your maiden voyage goes great and you enjoy boating and fishing as much as I do.

Thanks dude! I have trolling motor on the front also. I wanted the 200 Yammy but for an extra $4k and only 4-6 mph gain, I thought the 150 should be fine. Going from a 19.5' bowrider to this platform is gonna be cool!

10-4 dude, I get it now... Not sure what was up cuz I didn't have to scroll to see pics?????

Big Pete

Thanks dude!

My company just opened a new facility in Chandler... The thought crossed my mind!!! I do love Wisconsin!

I fish and the wife reads and loves to entertain guests/family. I thought the deck boat was like an SUV... Sorta does it all...

Thanks dude! Love the Yammy also! Just hope it's enough motor for this boat!

I've taken safety class, and spent every weekend this last summer on the water with my first boat ;) Growing up I had lots of friends with water property, on boats every summer as a kid...

I'm very envious my friend! But also very happy you have that opportunity! Lake Mead sounds so awesome!!!
