my gamefisher 7.5

My 7.5 starts after the prime but then goes dead. My tank is about half full but I don't know if the streem is broken. Once the motor starts and runs for a few seconds the bulb is soft. Don't know what else it could be... need help.

Hey Reggie

I would try a diffrent prime hose first to see if it's the prime hose.One you know is %100 good.

There are check valves in the primer if they break/wear they let fuel back to the tank, hence making the ball soft again and again.

If you swap out the primer, and it stays hard its the primer.
