Well, just purchased a new Tahoe Q4. I've had my brother-n-laws boat for about 6 months now. So, I have experience taking them out of the water...

But this particular day, current was running very strong. So, I'm anxious to get it out and go on my way. Unfortunatelly, my wife doesn't know how to back down the trailor or tie the boat off (not yet anyway). So.. once I get the boat on, I jump up front, wench it down and precede to get into my truck. Start to pull up the ramp, and hear this noise (thinking.. are the tires spinning?) and I get yelled at by another guy.. "YOUR MOTOR IS STILL TRIMMED DOWN".

So.. needless to say, I took about 1/8" off, and hurt my ego as well.

That will never happen again.. :'(

It is OK. No so much damage there besides leaving some metal on the ramp. Ego still intact. You can now bravely say that you have been there before. Join the brotherhood of those have done it.

Try again better the next time,
